Privacy Policy

Dtable (“we”, “our”, “us”) sells study and office tables in Hyderabad through dtable.in. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

When you place an order, contact us, or fill in a form on this site, we collect:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Delivery and billing address, including pin code
• Any notes you add to an order, such as floor number or lift availability

We ask for this because we deliver the desk ourselves. We cannot reach your door without it.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card numbers, bank details and UPI IDs are handled entirely by the payment provider and are never stored on our servers. We see only whether a payment succeeded, the amount, and a reference number.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the site we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how you arrived here, and cookie identifiers. This comes through standard web analytics.

Messages

If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we keep that conversation so we can handle your order and any follow-up. WhatsApp messages are also held by WhatsApp under their own privacy terms.

2. How we use it

• To process, pack and deliver your order
• To contact you about delivery timing, availability or a problem with an order
• To handle replacements, cancellations and refunds
• To answer your questions
• To understand which pages and products people look at, so we can improve the site
• To meet our tax and legal record-keeping obligations

We do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you bought a desk.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We share it only where it is needed to run the business:

• Delivery partners. Your name, phone number and address go to whoever is bringing the desk to you, so they can find you and call ahead.
• Payment providers. Razorpay receives what it needs to process a payment.
• Website and hosting services. Our site runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, hosted with Hostinger. Data is stored on their servers.
• Analytics and advertising services. We use Google services including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Merchant Center, and we may run advertising on Google and Meta platforms. These may set cookies and receive information about your visit.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to provide information.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to:

• Keep items in your cart while you browse
• Keep you signed in to your account
• Measure how the site is used
• Measure whether our advertising is working

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, the cart and checkout will not work properly.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for tax and accounting purposes, which in India is generally up to eight years. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for up to two years. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider.

6. Security

The site runs over HTTPS, access to the admin area is restricted, and payment data never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or tax reasons
• Stop contacting you

Email info@dtable.in with your request and the order number if you have one. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

This site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other websites, including WhatsApp and payment providers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before sharing information with them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here, so it is worth checking if it has been a while.

If you are not satisfied with our response, write to info@dtable.in marking the subject line Grievance, and we will acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.
